The idea was sparked by his collaboration with photographer Paul Ripke, known for working with Valtteri Bottas on similar projects. Russell acknowledged Ripke’s influence on Bottas’ iconic blonde mullet and nude calendar. When Max Verstappen jokingly recommended Russell to consider a nude calendar as well, Russell humorously entertained the idea as a potential income source if he doesn’t get a new contract with Mercedes. Despite the playful banter, a new deal with Mercedes appears likely for Russell, with rumors circulating about its imminent finalization. If not, a move to Aston Martin could be on the horizon for the talented British driver with four race wins under his belt.
